What you can invest in.

Most clients start with mutual funds. We discuss SIFs and GIFT City funds only when your amount and risk profile suit them.

Equity, debt and hybrid funds, from every fund house.

    Suits
Most goals, from a first SIP to a large portfolio.
    Minimum
Set by each fund. Most SIPs start at ₹500 a month or less.
    Main risk
Values move with markets. Equity funds can fall sharply in the short term.
  • SIFs

Specialised Investment Funds: a SEBI category with more flexible strategies than mutual funds.

    Suits
Experienced investors who want strategies such as long-short.
    Minimum
    ₹10 lakh across a fund house's SIFs.
    Main risk
Strategies can use derivatives. Some SIFs limit when you can redeem.
  • GIFT City funds

Funds based in GIFT City (IFSC), held in US dollars.

    Suits
Investors who want to hold assets in US dollars, including NRIs.
    Minimum
Set by each fund, in US dollars. Residents invest under the LRS limit.
    Main risk
Returns change with the rupee–dollar rate. Tax and reporting rules differ from Indian funds.

Same fund. More support.

Every fund has a direct plan and a regular plan. Here is what the regular plan gets you with us.

  • Cost

Direct plan, on your own: Lower yearly expense ratio. No commission.

Regular plan, with us: Higher yearly expense ratio. The fund house pays our commission from it. No separate fee from you.

  • Choosing funds

Direct plan, on your own: You research and shortlist on your own.

Regular plan, with us: We shortlist funds that fit your goals, with the reasons and the alternatives. Our commission in writing.

  • Transactions

Direct plan, on your own: You place each one on a platform.

Regular plan, with us: We do the setup, from KYC to each SIP. You approve each one by OTP.

  • Reviews

Direct plan, on your own: You track benchmarks, overlap and costs yourself.

Regular plan, with us: We check your funds against fair benchmarks, for overlap and for costs, at regular intervals.

  • When markets fall

Direct plan, on your own: You decide on your own.

Regular plan, with us: You talk to a person before you act.

  • Suits

Direct plan, on your own: Investors with the time and interest to manage their own funds.

Regular plan, with us: Investors who want an expert to check and help, from a first SIP to a large portfolio.

Already in direct plans, but want an expert opinion?

We review them on the first call, and you can keep them direct. If you invest through us, we can only use regular plans. Nothing moves without your approval.

Questions before you start

Before the call

Do I need to move my existing funds?

No. We review what you hold, and you decide what to keep. Nothing moves unless you approve it.

Is there a minimum amount?

Each mutual fund sets its own minimum, and most are small. SIFs start at ₹10 lakh. GIFT City funds set their minimum in US dollars.

Products

What is a SIF?

A Specialised Investment Fund. It is a SEBI category that can use strategies a mutual fund cannot, such as long-short. The minimum is ₹10 lakh, and the risks are higher. We explain them on the call.

Who can invest in GIFT City funds?

Residents of India invest under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS), in US dollars. NRIs can also invest. We explain the tax and reporting rules before you decide.

Costs

What is the difference between a direct plan and a regular plan?

Each fund is sold in two versions. You buy a direct plan on your own, with no help to choose or review. You buy a regular plan through a distributor like us. It has a higher yearly expense ratio, and our commission comes from that difference. The fund and its investments are the same in both.

Do you choose funds by the commission they pay you?

No. We shortlist funds by fit to your goals and risk profile. You get our commission on each fund, and on the alternatives we considered, in writing before you decide.

After the call

What happens after the call?

For a full review, we ask for your Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) after the call. We help you download it. Then we send you a short brief.

How often do you review my funds?

We agree how often on the call, based on your portfolio. You can also ask for a review when your plans change.

Who holds my money?

You pay the fund house directly, and the units are in your name. We never receive your money.

Can I stop at any time?

Yes. Your investments stay in your name with each fund house.
